Can anyone help identify a pin that looks like a coin. It say MMS on the front and Mcintire Philadelphia on the back
 
There is a clothing design company out of Chi town call MMS...... makes purses also.

Ok....... lets try this: Massachusetts Medical Society, the oldest continuously operating medical society in the United States. Established in 1781. Unless someone has an old button book with a picture its going to be hard to find. I had one in Ind for those buttons........... it was huge and i still found some not in it. GL hopefully someone will have a photo.

It's says Mcintire Phila on the back. If you type in Mcintire on google it come up as Samuel Mcintire who was a house builder and artist in Massachusetts in the late 1700's. He also did work on ships. To me it looks like a ships wheel and the letters SMM would be Samuel Mcintire Massachusetts. I'm trying to find out more from the Salem historical society to see if they think that's what it is. Mcintire was from Salem Massachusetts.
