Need help Identifying these two items

Walkabouts

New member
I am trying to find out what these items are? I frequently find these items in early picnic areas (late 1800's and early 1900's). When I'm finding these I'm also always finding old coins and relics. Any help would be appreciated. The caps are about 1/2' across and about 1/4" deep. They look to be made of aluminum or zinc. I also frequently find them with what looks like a rubber washer/gasket on them, maybe some sort or bottle cap? The other item has a 57 on it and is made of aluminum. They are about 1" long by about 5/8" wide

Thank you

Looks like a type of " percussion cap ??"

" 57 " looks like a seal from the top of a wine bottle, etc. Maybe Heinz 57 bottle ??

Here is the patent for the round ones...
I have seen many of those come from old fairgrounds.
fig. 2 and 3 shows the rubber seal you are talking about.

I believe the other was called a goldy cap or seal and was used on ketchup.
