need help fisher f2

just got the radio shack wireless headset for xmas to use on my f2,,and i cant get a sound out of it,,,they work great on my x terra, does anyone know of a brand that will work with the fisher.they will not work on a fisher 1266 neither, but they work great on my brothers ace,,thanks in advance

Hey goldfox,

I don't understand why the phones will work in the other detectors, but not in yours. It has me wondering if there is something wrong with the headphone jack on your F2. I have an F2. When I bought it, I also purchased a set of Calrad headphones. They are 8 ohms and they work fine with my F2. I bought everything from T.C. Metal Detectors. The headphones were only $24.95 and Tony (the owner) is a heck of a nice guy. headphone jack works fine with my other headphones just wont work with my wireless..i used the wireless all last summer on my minelab,and i loved them , i dont want to go back to the cord,lol. it must just be a fisher thing as they dont work in the 1266 either

Is there a stereo/mono switch? Seems like my CZ uses mono but my F2 uses stereo? Can't remember which is which but they use different settings.
