NEED HELP FINDER THE RIGHT METAL DETECTOR! PLEASE

Carolk

New member
Hi!

I am very new to this I have owned two metal detectors in the past one I order from a mail order house back in the early 80's and one I purchased in Radio Shack. Neither of which I could ever get to work, if you moved them the knobs moved and you would have to start over again. I am know retired and live near a beach and love to go to the beach and want to get a detector that will be worth while to own. Keep in mind I am 65 a woman and I don't know much about technical machines. So in essence it need to be fool proof and I think this is the place to start. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I think minelab sovereign should be very good and others i think will agree, main advantages that you can carry control box on the belt, which is very help full to swing less weight with one hand. good luck

On a beach i tend to agree with stasys. They transition well from wet to dry sand because of their multi freq, great tones, lighter because of the hip mount, really deep, learning cure isnt bad, and have several coils that can be used. If you need a TID screen for some reason whites makes a pretty good BEACH machine as well.
