I have possible access to a site to hunt for Civil War relics in a creek bed. The water is shallow and getting shallower by the day. I presently own a Minelab X-Terra 50. Can I use this unit in one to two foot water as long as I don't submerge the control box? Is the coil waterproof? Also, if not is there a better unit out there for this purpose? I will probably be hunting sandbars mostly. Thanks!
