Went out for a few hours this afternoon with KennyMac. I found this bent spur but can't find it in any of my books. Has anyone seen this style or know anything about it? It has US marked on the inside and AB under that. Also should I try to straighten it out or leave it like it is? Any info would be appretiated. HH

Don't know how it posted twice. Anyway, here's the markings.

don't bend it!!!!!!!!!it might just break in half looks like a cav spur

The Model 1911 US spur but subtle differences lead me to believe yours is much earlier. Howard Crouch publishes an excellent paperback book on spurs but we have sold out; even my copy..lol. You may be able to find Howard on the Net. If so, email him these pics. Good find, David @ Dixie
