Need HELP Cleaning A RUSTY V-Nickle w/ Great Detail/Date:

Everyone, I need some GOOD ADVISE on CLEANING a V-NICKLE that has great detail/date. It is very rusty looking 1905 V-Nickle,and I know the bottom-line rule is that you are not suppose to clean coins! But I would like to try some METHOD THAT IS ACCEPTABLE for LIMITED CLEANING! If there is such a thing! MANY THANKS, hh, Les Robinson

You can soak it in olive oil, but it can take weeks to come clean (if it does). I tried this, lost patience, and built my own electrolysis setup
