need headphone advice

I picked up a x-terra 50 recently & my old trusty Koss TD81's don't cut it with this detector (very poor volume). I then tried some Calrads --- a little better but still lacking a lot.

Any recommendations --- I would like to go medium to lightweight, if I have to get another set.

Thanks!

Al

I feel that may know this:
There is a separate volume control adjustment for use of headphones. Also an icon that headphones are plugged in.
Just something to check.

Like I do, (hat size 7 3/4 ) try one of the models by DetectorPro. I bought a pair of Original Gray Ghosts a couple years ago and absolutely love them. They fit great, are padded nicely, block out nearly ALL the outside noise and reproduce the detector's signals very well. They have adjustable volume control and a toggle switch to use in either the stereo of mono mode. I did replace my ear pads this fall, as perspiration and wear had made them a bit hard. Excellent set of headphones for around $85. HH Randy

They still can't get into the meetings if they don't know the secret handshake! HH Randy
