Need Feed Back on the Prizm 6T

Thinking on a 6T. Anyone using one for coin hunting? I also have a X-Terra 70 and wondering if it might be a learning curve? The 6T seem to have lots of features, but you all know it's what it does in the ground. Looking for feed back on the 6T . Thanks Joe

Almost no learning curve. Very light & balanced for a Whites. I have fun every time I turn mine on. Good depth. Auto track & lock. Back light. Beach setting. Brand new small coil for it. I personally think it is way ahead of other Prizm models on every level. It compares well against the M6 in performance. The only negative I can find is the lack of a detector stand to keep it off the ground. with the addition of the smaller coil this detector went from back up to front line. The ability to make quick changes in the settings while hunting is what really makes this detector great. Quick push button discrimination changes, sensitivity, tracking all one click away. No menus or scrolling. Fast & effective.

For me, some models tend to be more versatile with an assortment of search coils. Such as a modified Classic III SL or IDX Pro where I enjoy using a 4" in very dense trash, a 6

Great, easy to use machine with really top notch iron discrimination. All the controls at your fingertips with no need to go into annoying programs to access them when you want to change them quickly. Even works without a problem on the Australian goldfields in bad ground.

Excellent machine. I also have DFX and MXT. Bought 6T for my wife to start learning on. Took her to a park I've hunted many times. Found some 'current' change, then got a dollar signal. Thought no way. Found an 1885 Morgan Silver Dollar about 6 in down. I'm sold on the 6T. A great performer, easy to use and almost nor learning curve. Turn on and go.

Good Luck

Just received the May issue of LOST TREASURES. There's a write up on the 6T in it that you might like to read.
