Found this necklace pendant "cross" in a very old part of town. It was made from a silver coin and has a "reeded" edge. Now, it's between the size of a walking half and a standing quarter. It could have been a quarter size that was slightly flattened out...I don't believe it was from a half size because it's smaller and still retains the reeded edge. It appears to be a standing woman wearing a long gown, but her arm positions are different from a walking liberty, but that is what it is closest to. The reverse side is smooth. Well, any body have an idea?...thanks for the read, Ray in Waco, TX.

it is from France. Minted between 1898 and 1920..... 2 francs.
