ok I found these while coin roll hunting, does ANYONE here know if these are the small date variety? From what I have read if the 7 is equal to the 9 and the 0 it is the small date, and if the 7 drops down and is lower it is the large date, someone help!!!!

Here's a link to coppercoins

There varities to these coins and others. Both sites have info on them and are experts in their fields of varieties. Koinpro does have things on the site that are not what they should have on a site open to the public. Only look at what you're looking for.

I read thru all that and honestly I can't tell? I give up.....lol the difference is not enough of a difference.

There is one real easy way to tell small from large date.

Good Luck.

This image was taken from "The Cherrypickers' Guide to Rare Die Varieties" hope they don't mind as I'm not trying to make a profit on this.

See how the top of the 7 is below the the tops of the 9 and 0. The small date has the top of the 7 in line with the tops of the 9 and 0. You probably have "Business Strike", or for circulation coins. There are several die varieties commonly listed for these coins. The first one shows real well on the motto, IN GOD WE TRUST. If you look at the lettering you can see what looks like letters superimposed on letters, double letters. These are really rare and considerable bucks. The second has almost a ghost of the form of another 0 off the bottom right of the 0 in the date. Nowhere near but a couple of bucks.
