This one has me stumped. I found this in a field at the site of an 1800s farmstead.
Who and when was W.Wallace [Flat button 1/2 inch in diameter, plain front]

Got this from another source, : :super:

W. Wallace was an English maker from the 1790's into the 1820's. He produced buttons for the American market. :surprised:

found a button just like it here in farmington mississippi where the old town was and church too the town was destroyed and burned along with the church found a nice eagle eye 2 feet from it. william wallis this is the only button from him i have seen that read w. wallis they usually say william wallis super find this one goes in the case :)
