Need beachunter ID tips

hi 007 , I use mine on East beach a lot. I just put mine in all metal and dig all yellow and green lights. If it is red just go on, I have dug a lot of the red hits and they are iron. gold rings can make yellow and green together flashing. I have done very well with mine. Good Luck with it, it is a very good detector.

No East Coast experience but on the North shore of the Yucatan, Mexico, I used it just like Flinstone said and it doesn't get any easier than that, a great beach hunter indeed.

I use one over in England and have had great success with it.......really deep and sensitive in all metal. It is actually a very underated machine, many give up on it because it can take a bit longer to get used to than some machines, but once you have spent some time with it you will find it to be one of the best.
One tip I would give is not to overpower the machine,in some areas the pre set sensitivity mark can be too much.Don't be afraid to turn the sensitivity down slightly so that you get good stability as you won't loose any depth.
Also,if you find it difficult to ground balance, you can leave the ground balance knob at the center position which will provide great results in most areas......i would assume this will apply to the use of the machine on your side of the pond also.
Good luck with it,
Neil.
