Need advise on MDing in and around Banff, Canada

Hello all:

I'll be up in Banff, Canada in early September and the resort I'm staying in says I can bring my MD.

Question is... can I MD all over or are there places I can't. Need some input from our Canada brothers and sisters.

Also, anybody in the area want to hunt together?
