I will be heading up to mass the first week of july to visit my son. I am planning on driving from alabama to charleston and getting on hwy 17 and going up the coast line thru NC and SC. I would like to stop at some of the busier public beachs and spend a couple of hours metal detecting. I will be using a xterra 50 and my xlt spectrum. Will be hunting dry sand only. Any advice or suggestions will be appreciated. thanks
