Need advice on a V3i

Going to go look at a used V3i today. It was purchased new in 3/2012 and comes with a stock D2 coil, 10x12 SEF V rated coil (yes it's white in color), whites head phones (not wireless), Lesche digging tool, soft bag, charger, battery pack, AA battery pack, bounty hunter pen pointer, and all the paper work. He wants 950.00 for it. Do you think this is a good deal? I have been using a XLT that I got new in 1995 and have been very happy with it. I have found a lot of things with it over the years. I have been reading a lot of the post and I see that most of you are happy you got one. I'm a tech type person and understand how the machine works. Thanks in advance for any replies

Excellent deal...... if you don't get it, send me his name and #. The wireless headphones are on sale from White's if you want to add them.

According to the purchased date sounds best deal ever. It is on its guarantee also what ever could be wrong with the detector it can be fixed by whites free of charge. I do not want to be the one that puts fire on anybody s worries but I think is got to be checked first.

It sounds like a fair price. Make sure you get the password, so you can put in your information. I wouldn't be looking for problems with the unit. The warranty has you covered.

Don't base the detectors performance on the SEF. Test the D2 and if it is good then use it to test the detector. If all is well then use the White SEF. Many of them were not up to par, just ask Burlbark.
