Need advice on a Tigershark, CZ-21, or Excalibur 2. Gold response is important

I am looking to buy a water machine. I have a Sovereign GT, that i use on the saltwater beach but I want to venture into the water. I think mostly I will do my hunting in the water of freshwater beaches, however I cant ignore the saltwater beaches. I have heard that the Tigershark shark is the best on Gold chains but it may be useless in the saltwater ,of M.A and N.H.
I had a CZ-6 back in the day so I know that it handles the salt very well, but I forgot how the CZ's respond to thin gold. I would get a Excalibur 2, but I feel as though I want to switch it up and maybe try a Fisher or a Tesoro water machine. Anyone have any advice for me.
Thanks in advance

The CZ will NOT get thin gold. I do know that for a fact. It does very well on everything else.

Tiger shark gets the small gold but from all the post on this forum its not up to to par in salt water. I use mine in fresh water only so I can not give any advice on how it performs in salt water. But I know for a fact it will get the small gold at 8 or more inches, items like small earing`s,necklaces, bracelets etc.

iv owned all 3 and for small gold none is as good as the Tiger Shark.it is an awsome detector but not as deep in salt water as my Excal or my CZ21/20.the TS will hit #4 shot gun pellets and gold ear ring studs and will hit most chains,my CZ's and Excal wont! but my Excal will find gold under iron and the other's wont. i find the tones a must if you are going to cover a lot of water.i only dig the Gold tone's and move on.i use a Sovereign GT and S12 coil on the beach and it is hard to beat.depth wise i get 12"on a nickle with my Excal and CZ's only about 8" with Tiger Shark. good luck.
