Need a Pro pointer holder for your etrac?

I was looking for an alternate Pro pointer holder for my detector....some are 30 bucks and I'm not sure if they are practical or if they work. Some don't work on all detectors. I don't always wear a belt and sometimes wear shorts or other clothes that doesn't have a good pocket for the pro pointer to fit into.....or it falls out of the pocket a lot. Sometimes I don't want to get what I'm wearing muddy so I carry it. I sometimes have to carry both the pointer and the digger in one hand which is a pain.

Here's the answer.....and it will cost you....a couple pieces of Velcro tape....just like the Velcro tape pieces that come with a lot of metal detectors but most of us don't use. I can now use the factory holster that was taking on dust in the closet. You can take it off/on in a snap and just toss the holder in the washer for cleaning. Simple and works for all detectors!

I call it a Jholder.

I actually have 2.....One is on my etrac in the pic and the other is on V3i. That is the beauty of it....you can change it from one detector to another in a flash. No fuss no muss.
 
I never have problems like you had, mine is strung on my seatbelt equipped apron in the upright position....nge
 
If it works for you great. I like to use and carry the least amount of things possible....this helps!
