Hey kids,
Talking at work last nite about the rising value of coins (or at least the silver in them) and a co-worker went home and dug out the shoe box of silver coins his mother left him.
He just called and rattled off some of the things in the box...Lots of Morgan dollars and both walking and Standing Liberty qtrs. Most of the coins are in protective sleeves but I doubt if any of them are going to be gradeable at a super high level.
I told him to jot down some year and mint marks of some of these coins and I would try to give him some ball-park prices as to their value.
Been searching on-line and noticed some of the coin value sites are a bit behind the times for the current silver price so what I am asking is this. What on-line source can I put into my favorites to give him a quick and semi-accurate value of some of his coins.
I figure he will be calling in another couple hours (unless the Captain Morgan gets to him first.)
Thanks for the help.
Gordy
