Hi Y'all,
Can you help. I would like to replace my very old 1265x with a modern detector.I would like it to go deeper of course, but I think having target ID will be nice. Does anyone have any recommendations? Can you speak to what models have accurate ID system.
Peace,
Biotch

I'm in the process of getting the F 5
Seems to have good reports.

Thanks guys.... will check out the f5. Any differences with the Omega?

Teknetics Omega...the coinkiller....super accurate ID system....super deep with the additional 11" DD coil.....does like to read aluminum can slaw as coins sometimes....but you learn from the ID behavior that its not a coin. The only real flaw on the Omega. Do some research on the Omega....although the F5 is really nice too if you wish to stay with Fisher and excels as a jewelry hunter due to seperate gain/sensitivity controls. Mike Hillis is a expert at this. His posts are here on FMall. Both machines are from the same company First Texas Products.
I am sure the F5 has a flea or two. All detectors do. Bottom line. Both excellent machines.
