LOOKING FOR 10 INCH COIL WITH GRAY CABLE LOOKS THE SAME AS TODAYS 10 INCH COILS BUT NOW BELIEVE CABLE IS BLACK
LOOKING FOR AA BATTERY HOLDER FOR BOUNTY HUNTERS IT CAME OUT IN 80S REPLACES 9VOLTS OR ANYONE MAKING MODS

Can't help you with the coil, but AA/9V battery holders are available at Radio Shack...6 batteries...

What bounty hunter metal detector do you have? I might have a 10" magnum coil laying about with the old style plastic twist collar and long cord. The other item you ask about is very rare. It looks like an upper rod used by the Teknetics roadrunner, turbo and S/T. The AA batteries were housed in the underside of the armcup.
I love using the George Payne bounty hunters. I currently have two Mark units and a HOT big bud 220 select with analog meter. I also have an S/T and Tek Turbo.

I have a bounty hunter 1 that took 8AA batteries. Was this a good detector for the times. It doesn't seem to have a lot of depth but maybe I don't know how to use it properly. I used it at the shore and maybe that was the problem. I'm thinking about getting a more modern detector but with minimal gauges.

I have an older Bounty Hunter coil with the gray cable. I won it at auction to save $$$ to replace my Tracker IV coil.
Here's the dilemma, if I let it go I'll have no cable again. Got one to trade? To protect the coil I sprayed it with
truck bed liner and it looks great! Also protects it from scratches.

is this what you are looking for i have one new from my old store stock

10" Bounty Hunter Magnum coil with gray cable and a white coil cover never used.
