Great find. I remember the days when I was happy to just clad hunt all day. I'd find piles of coins in one hole like that and it's always fun. It all adds up for another machine or a second coil. I remember reading an article in a magazine about a year ago where a guy's goal was to see how many quarters he could find in a month. If I remember right he ended up with around $1900 in a month's time!!! If it wasn't that I know it was well over $1000. He concentrated on areas where they would be in large numbers, like around concession stands at schools and sports fields and such. That just amazed me. Think of it, you could buy yourself one or two nice machines for that kind of money.

That must have been a dropped roll of dimes.
I found 8 quarters in one hole a couple of years ago and they were stacked like they were in a roll.. must have just been partially full.

A friend told me that yesterday he got a silver washington, a merc, and a rosie in the same hole. A rarity for sure and a nice find. My best old coin pocket spill was a barber dime, 3 or 4 Vs, and 2 or 3 wheats in one hole. At the bottom of the hole beneath the coins was also a pocket knife.
