Down by the river, I found nothing all day then I get a 12-41/ 6-40 about 10" a pretty consistent signal. About a foot down was one of these. I did a little research and apparently, it was to celebrate the boy scouts 40th anniversary in 1950! I borrowed the pic. Mine is redish green and looks worn.

Boy Scout slides are fun to collect and that is a special one. :clapping:
 
My grandson is in cub scouts and a friend of the family gave him one just like that. That is a very cool find. congrats.

I found one back in 2006 in my main park here in Richmond Indiana. Congrats on a awesome find.:twodetecting::minelab::cheers:
