NBC Today & Minelab Quattro

This morning on Today show from the Island of Anguilla the had the Wedding special show. They where showing items to me used on the Island, a tent for protection from the sun and then they had a Minelab Quattro, which Katie Couri used for a minute, and which sound out high silver for an item they had hid in sand for her. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
 
Neat. Could have been a good bit of publicity for Minelab if they'd mentioned what it was. Although all that blue is pretty distinctive! Thanks for the info, wish I'd seen it.

...a shot of restoring an old mid 1800's home, and the guy there was detecting in the yard around the new construction. He had a bunch of finds on a piece of plywood to display, many from early 1800's. I did not get to see which brand of detector he was using, but he found some really neat stuff.
 
They said Minelab Quattro and that price was $899.
(I think that was amount he mentioned.)

A freelance videographer from New York city sometimes works for NBC - he is also an Explorer owner.
I would have liked to have seen that clip myself as I think Katie Couric is my type of woman!!!!!!!!!
