Native American Ring?

A buddy of mine dad got this ring years ago and says it is Native American but doesn't know any info on it. The stone is suppose to be a beetle. Any info is greatly appreciated. Sorry for the blurry pictures that is all he had
 
It's a Native American Style ring and probably from the west and sold there as well . I would like you to post any markings inside . And the Eagles on the sides seem to be holding the stones . And if you'd turn it around you's see the stone seems to have a red or orange colored quarter circle that might be a representation of the Sun and the other represent blue for the sky , white for the clouds and black might represent the night ...what does everyone else think ? Beetle or Sun ? IMHO . Woodstock
