National Geographic Topo Maps and Google Earth

I found a set of the 50 state Nation Geographic Topo maps for sale on one of the treasure sites for $25.00. I bought them and they are not a bad set of topo's and have some pretty neat features built into the program. The one thing I really like is that you can click on a link from the maps that takes you to google earth and print or just view a picture of the area you are looking at on the topo map.
I have found this really handy and fast when researching a potential detecting site. Once the Google map is up, you can zoom or move it around if desired. When I find a site of interest, I print the topo and the Google picture to take as a reference.

Good hunting, John K
