People if you have never been in a hurricane don't try one. After it over with it get nasty, every thing is wet, cold, and just nasty.
I did read Rick's post about staying home in a hurricane,The answer,If I was living on the coast line and knew the hurricane was coming to me,Yes I would get me and the family away 4 to 5 days ahead of time.If you stay there and have a hurricane party and get hurt or killed,Well you ask for it. Yes if a kid get hurt,Pay the price. I live about 75 to 100 mi. from the coast,Winds get bad here too but not like on the coast. If I leave the law will not let me back in here of days.So that's why I stay here.I can save lot of thing after hurricane is gone. Here is a few pic of my house.

While he was sitting in air conditioned comfort, watching FOX news showing your state basically blowing away, he had the wheels stole off his house. And he had paid extra for white walls too!

Elson, I'm sorry to see the severe damage done to your home during the hurricane

I hope all will be back in working order soon...stay safe.
