Nassau and Freeport, anyone detected there?

Hello,
The Wife and I will be going on our 1st cruise soon to the Bahamas. Going to be at Nassau a day and Freeport a day. I'm not taking a full sized detector for a couple reasons, 1. First cruise so not sure how getting on/off the ship will be and don't want a scoop and detector to fool with, 2. Only going to be at the places with a beach during the daytime, it will be crowded at peak times.
Therefore, I'm taking my Vibratector 730 and my brand new Scubatector and mask and snorkel. I've found gold, silver, junk rings and coins with the VT so I know good stuff is within reach within snorkel range. Have any of you detected in these areas and if so how did you do? I will post up with results here after we get back, really looking forward to the cruise, but couldn't let an opportunity to do a little treasure hunting in the Bahamas get by without trying SOMETHING. If I see it's not a hassle, may plan a trip to one of the islands for a more in depth treasure hunt in the future.
