NASA Research balloon.....

A friend that works as an air traffic controller called me this evening and told me there was a NASA research ballon floating over the Texas panhandle this evening. It was at 96,000 ft and between 50-60miles away. The payload can weigh up to 8000 pounds. The video nasa produced say the balloon is roughly the size of the Superdome at altitude. The entire thing is roughy 1000 feet tall. I was barely able to catch it before the sun went down. Was using a 300mm and ISO of 3200.
