Nancy what happened to The General.... I tried

Hi, The General is going to have surgery on his left hind knee. He goes in Tuesday morning and will be home Wednesday. It will be a long summer for him and us also. We'll have to keep a close eye on him so he won't start running and doing his Boxer Zoomies. He's such a good boy and we couldn't ask for a better dog. We wouldn't trade him for anything. No kidding. Well, he's got a very good Vet and specializes in Orthopedics. We have good faith that he will have a good and happy life. Thanks again, Nancy, Larry and the General

Thank you all and we'll keep you posted on how he does after his surgery Tuesday. HUGS to all, Nancy, Larry and the General

Oh I see. I thought maybe he'd gotten hurt. I'll be saying prayers for him. I wouldn't take anything for my two either. Lots of people don't understand that.

He did get hurt. When he was a year old, he tore his ligament in his hind leg and it's called Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL). It wasn't too bad back then and doctor didn't want to do surgery, but he re-injured it real bad this time and he does need the surgery. It's for the best so he can live a normal life. He's been on pain meds and anti inflammatory pills for over 2 weeks now. He goes with us almost everywhere we go since he's a big part of this family. Today was a good day for him. He has his off and on days. Yes, he's family. Thank you for the prayers.
