You know I'm just teasing you a little..Isn't it funny how we do things sometimes and our thought process... Been there done that myself on a few things LOL
I suppose if you contacted the administrator he could release your ip address and allow the change.. But I doubt it is something they would make a habit out of doing. Can you image the time it would take if we all wanted to change our forum name WOW....

I'm guessing you'll probably just have to create a new profile and simply abandon the old one.
