Well, I put the wetsuit on and hit it at predawn...waves were just starting to build, I was hitting so many coins, I would do a dig, dig another, then another before emptying out the scoop...got a 53 wheat nearly right away, so I was really staying in this one deep hole tight to a breakwater, nickels just kept coming, and so did the waves...I hit this little 925 with an aquamarine...

.I got out a little too deep and got caught in a mild rip, nothing serious, but it pulled me out over my head ...its tough to swim with a scoop in one hand and a rig in the other, I roll over on my back like a sea otter and kick on in...fortunately, I keep my smokes on top of my head under my hat...it was really cold, and I started to get stupid so it was time to go.....I walked on out of there and had to change out of my wetsuit in a portapotty!...thats a tough stinky deal there! Then I bought a cup of coffee at a gas station, and it was the best coffee ever!

56 coins in a few hours..wish I coulda stayed longer but the waves were just too cold and steep and close together, theres gotta be some gold in here!..

Dang man, you better be careful! I got pulled into a big rip current one day and all I had was ONE rod in my hand......my fishing pole. I thought I was a goner there for a few, brief seconds, lol. I couldn't imagine having both hands tied up! But that's a nice little pile for what you had to go thru.
I hope you get some decent conditions soon, so you can get back out there and get the good yellow stuff! And lots of it!
