but much to my dismay it wasnt the elusive denver mint mark, there was a quick moment of hope because the coin was covered in dirt, a quick gentle wipe proved I hadnt found the holy grail of merc dimes. It was still a good tough find, this beauty was nestled deep between the sidewalks edge and giant root, I had to wiggle the coin side to side to release it from its resting place. when I started to dig and felt the massive root I removed all the lose dirt and could just barley see the silver reeded edge the coin was lying totally vertical, its a good feeling seeing some silver, I have been in a touch of a dry spell so this was a good day for me, I also bagged a couple wheats. The year as been a bit slower than I would have hoped, this makes the fourth silver coin and 36th wheat of the year, I hope it picks up or I find a good demo site to hunt soon my town is getting real slim I need a new site to pound.......

Hi Adam, I'm doing o.k. I lost my 93yr. old Father on Jan. 20, 2007,
so I'm trying to get on with my life. BOY, DO I MISS HIM!! I got out dirt detecting yesterday for the first time, since the beginning of Jan. 2007, but didn't find anything worth talking about. But, it was GREAT JUST TO GET OUT, and SWING A COIL!! Take CARE My FRIEND,
