When you ground balance, make sure both "DISC" knobs are turned counter clockwise and in the "all metal" mode. Once ground balanced in the AM mode, then choose your DISC setting.
 
you are absolutely right! I feel pretty stupid about that one. I was balancing in disc and not all metal!!!! Glad I asked.

There are two ways to enter all metal modes on the Tejon; one by pulling the trigger towards you, or by clicking main disc knob all the way counter clockwise. The alternate disc knob has no affect when ground balancing. Its better to use the trigger all metal position to GB because it is a "fast retune speed all metal mode" and the knob all metal is a "slow retune all metal mode". Its easier to GB with a fast retune speed.
