Mystery Pendent..Need to Identify

I found this heart shaped Pendent..Approx 10" deep in an old Oak Tree Grove..The chain is Gold but I can't identify what kind of stone it is . It is translucent and Clasp holding it appears to be hand made, Coins I found close to it are from the middle 50's.. Thanks
 
Appear green to me. What color is it in sunlight... Maybe Emerald rough..
 
Jadeite was popular in the old "make your own jewelry" kits. This one was special to someone who put it on a gold chain.
