Mysterious green rock from Blue Hole.

I found it at Blue Hole. It is green with purple in the corner where a little of it had broken off. It is also heavier than a normal rock.

I took it to my dad's house today. He didn't know what is was. We put an earth magnet to it and it is slightly magnetic. He has a rock saw, so we cut it in half. He said it didn't get hot like the other rocks he has cut on this saw.

IT'S solid GOLD!!!!

Really it is solid brass. I wanted you to feel the thrill that I felt when I first saw it. I always hope for the best first. I didn't know brass was slightly magnetic and it looks like a rock!!

Thats VERY cool!! I bet you nearly shit your pants, eh John? Wonder what it might have been?

Your trick worked. My heart started pounding, until I read that it was brass.

Did it make you weak Superman? Probably got a little copper in it. And gold doesn't turn green. Have any idea of its origin. Could it be the remnants of a brass ingot? I would be really curious. Do they have any old metal mills or foundries around there?
