Myrtle Beach

Hi,
I'm spending a week in N. Myrtle Beach, S.C. and wondered if it's o.k. to metal detect the beaches there.
I'd really appreciate any advice.
Thanks,
Jaxhunter

Yes you can metal detect the beaches but NO where else. They reburbished the beaches last OCT in Myrtle Beach not sure how far N. they went so about all we've been finding are new drops but the beaches have been busy. Stay out of any state parks and you'll be just fine. Have fun.

They refurbished from Springmaid Pier to Apache Pier and I believe they refurbished from Apache Pier north the year before. The pickens have been slim in the MB area as said.Good luck on your hunting..
