Myrtle Beach update Sat. AM

Sanddigger

New member
Only approximately 30 feet of sift-type sand

And then -- SMOOTH HARD PACKED SAND FROM THE TIDES.

Almost looks like hard clay and you could drive a car on it with no problem. Lots of silver dimes. The silver dollars were tokens for this morning's hunt. Only saw one person with a silver dollar.

Hunting tomorrow at 8 AM and 1 PM. Heading off to some playgrounds.

Finn

3 quarters
1 nickel
5 pennies

1/2 of butterfly (tiny)
Beach chair charm

Don't know what part of the beach you were hunting but I hunted in the Cherry Grove section of North Myrtle Beach this past Friday and Saturday. I was out for a total of about four to four and a half hours over the two days and dug over fifty coins. Nothing to write home about but at least I was finding something.
