Myrtle Beach Trip

Hello Everyone,

I made it back from my trip to the beach. I had very little time to get out but when i did it was great. The Safari was so easy to operate. It had no problem with falsing in the wet sand. Found a few rings and lots of clad. I just love this Safari. It is the easiest detector I have ever used. Until next time.

Nice finds Bill! I live about 100 feet from the beach but I prefer hunting the woods. I haven't used the safari on the beach yet. I'll have to give it a shot at low tide someday. Nice rings!

Hey Billrod nice finds ! I was also at the beach for the safari's 1st beach hunt. Didn't do as well as you (Cape Cod), but still had a good time. Never once did this machine chatter, wet or dry sand, even into the surf. Weather started to get rough with some wind gusts at 45-50mph. Boy can that sand sting !! Anyway congrats on the finds. Ron (Belchertown)

Nice rings!! I assume they are 14K? What did they register on your Safari? And what was your depth on them?

Ray

Whats up Fog, Ron and Ray. Both of these rings are silver. They were about 50 feet apart on the beach and both registered 38. The band was about 4" and the other was about 6". It was about 11 pm when I found them. The only time I had to hunt was when it was dark. I went by the sound and when I got a good signal, I turned on the flashlight. You can't miss coins on the beach with a safari. When it sounds off you just know. I gave my XLT to my 9 year old son as soon as we got back from the beach. I will not be using it anymore. Well good luck to everyone. Keep the finds coming. I really enjoy reading about them.
