My yard finds with tesoro' s

birdman

Member
I just moved into a home built in 1920 . These are my finds made with my Cibola and vaquero. Thanks for looking and HH. :usaf:

Wow, I'm impressed. Sounds like a great place to hunt.

Did you record information about the finds?
Depth, lay, location etc.

Macaco,I was using the stock coil on both machines, I started with the cibola and then I traded an old fisher machine for a vaquaro and went back over the same ares and was surprised at what was left over. Ground balancing really does make a difference in some soil.

Mark, I did not make a record other then mental but that is a good Idea. There are two areas were most of the finds came from. I also made a mistake and let a friend come by and hunt. He also found a lot of stuff ,about twenty coins and two gold rings which were side by side. I should have hunted the yard out before I invited anyone out. I called him after I found my first coin .He is a good guy but those rings would have been nice . Of course I told him that he could keep anything he found .

Cool! I just bought a house built in 1960 myself! 6ooo sg feet of virgin ground to detect....really looking forward to it.
