My XLT

Some time my display screen on my xlt has missing lines in it to the point I can not read it. When this happens I turn the backup light on and this helps. The xlt is a early model. Any one have this problem.

It could be just a bad connection. Try opening it up and check the cable connection from the cpu to the screen.This should help.

Sound like steve says the connection runs in back of screen to control box.If unsure of how to remove clips,i would call a service tec or service department and ask for directions they are usually very helpful and will explain it over phone or in a email.

Try removing the battery while the machine is on.

I had problems with my MXT display screen. It was a used machine but
Whites fixed it for me anyway. If you have an older model it's probabley just something
loose inside. Call Whites in Sweet Home and I bet they will treat you good.

My backlight on my XLT LCD was not working when I got It.The Whites factory replaced it for practicaly nothing.I would give them a call.Very fast turn around time.Plus they ship it back in a brand new whites box.Their service department rocks!!!

Wires to display mod loose or you need a new display mod...Call Whites and they will be able to help...

Just remove the ribbon connector and clean the pins.
