It played up for a while, then just as i had traveled 5 hrs to get to a good spot it suddenly said the batteries were dead and turned off no matter how many new batteries of different types I put in.

so sent it off to my dealer , they have sent it to Aussie to be fixed. Its so annoying not having a detector, I have driven past some really good looking areas...

well hopefully they send me a new one rather than repair the other one that's why I didn't buy a cheaper 2nd hand one.
