my worst day ever

Went to some of my old schools today and hunted for about 4 hours. I slowed down and run up the sens on the e-trac hopen to get a deep coin that had been missed or masked. I dug ever signal that i herd and even the ones that just changed the threshold. All that work and I didn't find a d@$m thing just rusted iron and can slaw. This is what a real dry spell is. I think my schools are truly hunted out after the years of me with Fishers and now with the E-trac. Hum guess its time to find some private property and get permission.

Oh yea and i got a ticket cause my inspection sticker was out on my ride. I should have just told him i pay his salary and made myself a friend That would have made this sorry day even more laughable. At least it was sunny and warm out today.

Sorry your not havin fun...I miss all the construction that was going on in the past its hard to find a good old construction site. Oh yeah thanks for reminding me to get the truck registerd. Better luck to you next time.

Sorry for chiming in here guys but....I've always said that the worst day of metal detecting is better than the best day at work...I stand corrected! May the silver gods soon sweeten this memory!!

thats what im doing to the silver gods cause i must have pissed them off. Oh and the clad gods and the wheat gods and the .....well all of em frowned on me so im praying to please them lol I need to sacrifice something. Wheres that junky azz mpx i got with the e-trac? I think it will be a good one to put on the alter.

Sounds like you need to find some new sites. I've been going back to previously hunted sites with my E-Trac and finding a few coins but not many. I only have a few hours on my machine so I'm still early in the learning curve.lol Hope your next hunt turns up some real oldies and no more tickets.

Sites with just chewed up bits of drink cans are absolutely the worst kind of sites imaginable. I know a few sites that are loaded with the stuff , one problem is the chewed up bits mask a lot of good targets out too much of this stuff can make a site not worthwhile hunting in my opinion. Those "lawnmower cans" are the worst kind of problem. Hate to just walk away but.... Guess if a site was potentially good, I'd still work it though.
