.........My wife's 35th year HS graduation reunion was announced 1-2 months ago.She was thinking it would be at a nice restaurant, and dancing-NOPE!!!-It was reserved at a out of town beer garden........Now,my wife repented from frequenting bars years ago,as did I at the Promise Keeper's I attended in Michigan in '98.I told her"ya know,we are not goin to get sloshed, just for dinner, some dancing"..........Problem is,I didnt really want to go there,either.-PROBLEM SOLVED!!!.........It turns out that they were havin Happy Hour before dinner.I left it to my wife as to what she wanted to do-She finally said:"Question for you:If I had the chance of seein people I havent seen for 35 years gettin tipsy-and whatever else-OR:Goin to see my parents that weekend, which one do you think I would choose?"I said"Your parents"-She said"Therein lies your answer".............Smart woman,AMEN!!!"GET BEHIND ME,SATAN!!YOU ARE A STUMBLING BLOCK TO ME!!!"

Good decision! Our High School Reunions are held in the new part of our old school and never any liquor is served....Soooo no drinking before, during or after in the buildings! Don't know what goes on in the parking lot or other places though but I've never seen anyone drinking or even seen anyone acting as though they were! I graduated in 1953, so 'twas different then and in later years! May God Bless and your wife have a good time visiting her parents! Amen! Ma Betty
