My wife and daughter are gone for the summer.

Got both of them off to the LAX airport this AM. Only took an hour to go through the new 911 security. Thought it would take a lot longer so they got there early. The flight does not leave for two more hours.

They are on their way to Japan, till August to visit my wife's family. They try to go every other year. My daughter(15) is more interested in seeing the horses she worked with the last time there. Some distant relatives have friends who own a "dude" ranch in Japan and they have Heather take care of the horses and lead the kids around the corral a few times a week.

Am I bad? I don't miss them yet. But then it has only been three hours since I saw them. It will be lonely and quiet though when I get home tonight. (I have to eat my own cooking :( )

I have to stay home to pay the bills and feed the fish. (all 70 of them)

Now for the good news. I can go out hunting any time I want, and stay as long as I want. It is only supposed to be 105* this weekend. I guess I will have to get up real early.
 
..... you'll realize how much you miss them.

The perky Nancy just got back from a weeks trip with one of my daughters. Wow, did I miss her. Hope you can last until August.
 
don't forget to change the bedsheets, and of course the towels in the bathroom need changing..........THEN there is your regular chores like taking out the garbage.....Shall I continue........or do you get the picture about being FREE!! BUT on the other hand you will have 2 months of total control of the TV remote control!!
