So sad to har about Uncle Willie passing away! I liked him and I pray that he is enjoying being free from all sickness, pain and sorrow by his spirit being back with God Who gave him life! You are missed Uncle Willie but await the time we may see you again! Amen! Ma Betty

Betty,I would like to share a story.About six years ago I was going to buy a small farm in Appomattox Virginia.I was talking to the Realtor about metal detecting and he told me not far from the farm property line there were vines growing in a tepee shape and people walked by them for years. One day the owner decided to clear the vines, and found the vines growing over Confederate rifles left there after Lee's surrender.Anyway back at the Realtors office we went on Ebay and the Realtor bought a Garrett Ace 250.The guy was really excited about buying a metal detector and asked for advice. My suggest go on Find's Treasure Forum and read post from the Garrett section the expert on the Ace 250 detector was Uncle Willy.LoL he did look at me a little strange. Thanks Ron

Uncle Willy will be missed for sure .....He was and is an icon for metal detecting ...... I remember how excited he was when the AT Pro was coming out .....He did more for the sales of that machine than anybody at Garrett !!...... We went back and forth on issues of the AT Pro, but I can honestly say that he was a gantleman thru the entire debate .....RIP Uncle Willy

Jim,Uncle Willy did contribute a lot to Garrett. He was the most enthusiasm promoter of the ACE 250. HH Ron
