My Very First Find

Gerry M

New member
It was back in the 80's sometime that I bought my Fisher 1220-X detector.

The first place everone tries is their back yard and I got a strong signal underneath my apple tree.

I didn't have any proper diggers back then so I don't remember what I used, but it was fairly deep.

Out popped this bracelet.

I presume it's silver because of the marks.

I can still remember what an exciting find this was and what an exciting way to start out in this hobby...

That would get ones juices flowing, very nice.

It is silver. That looks like it is very old. That little 1220 is a good detector... KEN
