well it came in today put it together and its far as I got until I get more time......kinda of nice to see one of these again..............the wife looked at it all of sudden out of the blue she asks if she could get a compadre and I said by all means but of course LOL..........she wants to go..he he he............. just never know sometimes
 
That's kinda neat that your wife wants to detect with you. The Vaquero + Compadre just about has all the bases covered.

well she has gone with me before but she's one that digs every little signal and when I'm ready to go I have a hard time to drag her out of the woods LOL!
 
yes jav. i have a vaq. also. let my gal play around with it once and had a hard time getting it away from her. she's not interested in setting it up. so, a compadre is going to be her birthday present next month. funny thing is, they will probably find more and better stuff than us. like taking them fishing. they seem to catch more fish too. haha. good luck...

I have encountered the VAQ and I have nothing bad to say about it , I agree with Tab would like to see what comes out of your spot ,
 
well I was thinking what the prior one's in the past have scored me and a lot of merc dimes, a 1901 barber half, 1896 barber quarter, 1852 large cent, piles of bullets, musket balls, eagle buttons, and bunch of other brass stuff got to get a NEL Tornado coil for fields and a 5.75' coil then I think will have the bases covered
