My Van Mere has arrived! (off topic)

From the land of the Bluenose...picked it up today at work. Got to say I'z luvs it! Dwayne Van Mere did a great job painting this scene from a photo.

Picture was taken a few years back in Yellowknife on Prelude Lake where there is an island in the middle of the lake. Had my class out on a "field trip" for some rest and relaxation before final exams. As fast as we caught the jack and lake trout we cooked them up.

One of my students snapped this shot just after I had caught a 12 pound lake trout and was resting up for the next big catch as Marie fishes on!<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6ce36b3127cce8e6a2d82df5d00000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center>

The Lord makes some beautiful, peaceful spots on this planet we call home!

Beautiful and relaxing (Marie of course is the beautiful and you doing the relaxing hahaha). Beautiful painting. Very talented artist (or photographer). Sure looks great either way.
