My V3 version is the 1.1 is this OK....

What is the difference between the versions???? AND when i put the 10inch dd on its not as stable as the 950????Can the coil be bad????Thanks for any help....
 
Ver. 1.1 didn't bother too many people, but 1.3 fixed an audio phase problem, I believe. Maybe someone can help me here. The loop problems was recently discussed......here is the link Carl posted on the problem.

There are no performance differences in the software versions. 1.1 is fine.

Here are the particulars of each version.

1.0 = original Version
1.1 = Volume control fix. (some claimed the volume was too loud even on lowest setting)
1.2 = In house fix to use more than one brand of a IC
1.3 = Fixed a audio phase rotation creating a stereo to mono on some units.
 
oh, the coil. I find the D2 not as stable as the 950 but the D2 works better (for me). Read your manual on how and air test. If your recommended gain is 8 or better (in the air) you're good to go.
 
Thanks my new friends for the help....My soil here is very good not much mineralisation what is the best coil for the V3???
What should i lower first in the coin and jewelry mode to make it stable???
 
I had 1.1 and the only real problem I had was sometimes the volume would jump WAY up to a level that was almost painful. I don't remember what triggered it, maybe pinpoint but I am not sure. I was using the WHP and they had the thing with the sound moving around from side to side. That didn't really bother me that much. well it did, but it wasn't a deal breaker. White's fixed me up. I am a happy camper. White's is a good company, no doubt. They have put a LOT into this little box and they have fixed anything that people had a problem with.

If I were you I would wait until you have a time when you can do without it for a week or two and send it in for updating, if it doesn't bother you.

I had that happen! The Vision was set up to use the SPEAKER. When you used the WIRELESS headphones, the SPEAKER would be silent. But any signal change to the headset could turn on the SPEAKER for a split second and then go back to the headset with a loud noise :-(

The FIX = Turn off the SPEAKER. Use the wireless headphone.
